Our Client transports more than 250 million tonnes of Australian commodities, connecting miners, primary producers, and industry with international and domestic markets. It provides customers with integrated freight and logistics solutions across an extensive national rail and road network, traversing Australia. The Company also owns and operates one of the world's largest coal rail networks, linking approximately 50 mines with three major ports in Queensland.

About the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter in Gladstone to work in the rail industry. you will be completing Rollingstock Maintenance and repairs and therefore be willing to obtain a Rail Industry card. Position is immediate start and approximately 6 months of work.

Skills and Experience

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Certificate III in Engineering ??? Mechanical

• Construction White /Blue card

• Rail Medical Cat 3 (willing to obtain)

• TLIF2080 - Safely Access the Rail Corridor (willing to obtain)

• Aurizon Isolation and Lockout - Protected Person (including Isolation and Lockout Foundation unit) (willing to obtain)

• You will be required to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol test.
