WorkPac Mount Isa is currently recruiting Several positions for Mechanical Fitters for ongoing mine site work in Mount Isa. To be successful, You must be residing or willing to relocate your self to Mount Isa

Work will be 100% mine site based, carrying out general maintenance, repair and shutdown work in various lead and copper areas of the mine. You must be willing to work in lead environments, be clean shaven every day and wear a respirator for your shift.

To apply you MUST have:

• Mechanical Fitting Trade qualification

• Confined Space and Working at Heights, both completed within the last 2 years

• Be physically fit & capable of working in extreme heat conditions and lead stream environments

• Be reliable, proactive and hard working

You must be able to obtain all mine site requirements:

• Pre Employment Medical and Drug Alcohol & Blood Lead

• Fire & First Aid

• Manual Handling

• Glencore Surface Induction

This role is a Monday to Friday position, however during a shutdown hours will be 13 on 1 off.
