Fitter Machinist - Kalgoorlie Workshop

About the Role

This role will predominantly involve the strip and assessment of Fixed Plant equipment and the operation of Manual lathes, Milling machines and Horizontal borers. Our client would be open to candidates looking to relocate to Kalgoorlie and the positions have the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate. Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work on offer.

Skills & Experience

  • Mechanical Fitter, 1st class machinist Trade Certificate

  • Experience on Gearboxes, Conveyor pulleys, Fitment of Bearings, rotating equipment, crushers and pumps

  • Be competent in using precision measuring equipment (Vernier's, insider and outside Micrometre's, Depth gauges and feeler gauges)

  • Able to interpret drawings

  • Good fault finding skills

  • Solution based attitude
