Role Description

WorkPac are currently seeking a Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanical Fitter to work for a local company in Karratha. In this role you will be responsible for the Maintenance of the Vessels and other Company or client assets as required, assist with changing fender tyres on tug vessels and Mechanical Inspection, fault finding and repair of all Mechanical Equipment. This role is Monday to Friday, every second Friday off, 7:00am to 4:00pm, $148,000 per year, plus Super, $606 per week living allowance & communication allowance of $700 per annum.

What you will need

• Australian Recognised Trade Qualification in Heavy Diesel or Mechanical Fitting or equivalent

• Experience in the Marine Industry and understanding of Vessel Operations

• High risk work licence Intermediate Rigger

• High risk forklift licence

• Karratha local or relocate if successful
