About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join Rio Tinto's Rail Maintenance Excellence Team. The role is based in Dampier and offered as either residential or FIFO. The Work Train Planner/Schedulers expected to provide a clear path for executing both Ballast and Rail Drops on the network.

Key Responsibilities will include

??? Deliver quality planning in alignment to the Work Management Process: Chevron, Work Flows, RACI and process documentation

??? Ensure all works are aligned to IMS, IAM and GLM obstruction rules, ensure work alignment with other groups pre- scheduling time horizon

??? 0 hours of backlog greater than two weeks

??? Notifications adequately managed as per individual stream processes

??? Run work area planning meeting each week, support coordinator with WK-1 review

??? Forward log status, revisions and naming convention to align to standards.

??? Major tasks / non-alignments submitted no later than 6 weeks out.

??? Ensure plan quality and all require SAP status and actions are complete before WK+2.

??? Ensure Netpass and SAP are aligned at all times

??? Remain on top of capacity availability and opportunities

??? Ensure capacity utilisation consistently above 70% each week

Skills & Experience Required

Fluent in HOSDI and Netpass applications

Ability to facilitate large stakeholder meetings

Knowledge and understanding in difference in safe working requirement (TVA, TPA, LPA)

Minimum one year scheduling or planning experience

Minimum one year rail experience

Minimum one year SAP experience

Minimum one year Rail operating systems experience
