About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Planner to join the team with Rio Tinto based at Tom Price.
The successful candidate will work a 5/2, 4/3 roster FIFO working 12-hour shifts with rostered Fridays working from Perth.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are planned and executed in line with Work Management and Shut Management Processes;

  • Plan approved wok orders and tasks, to ensure zero harm;

  • Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure efficient use of available resources and equipment;

  • Review weekly maintenance performance (KPIs) and develop action plans to achieve targets and make improvements;

  • Review and maintain the CMMS (SAP) to ensure data collection to assist with maintenance reporting requirements;

  • Minimise costs through efficient planning of labour, resources and services.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Significant experience in a maintenance capacity, with experience in a planning role (preferably planning weekly maintenance/shutdowns);

  • Strong understanding of production and maintenance strategies for fixed plant;

  • Proven commitment to safety and zero harm;

  • Team oriented and ability to work with others to achieve goals;

  • Good verbal, written and computer skills;

  • Sound problem solving and analytical skills;

  • Good planning and organisational skills;

  • Knowledge and experience in computer maintenance management systems (eg SAP)
