About the Client

Based in Eastern creek our client's recycling facility is state of the art and is the worlds largest recycling facility of its type that provides solutions across the entire waste management supply chain in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland and they are looking for an Experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance fitter to join the Team With Day, Afternoon and Night shift available.

What you will be doing

As the onsite maintenance fitter, you will have the option of working Days, afternoons or nights (Shift allowance included). Working 50 hours a week (10-hour shifts) Your duties will be maintaining and repairing machines on site, core duties are below:

• Undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance checks on our recycling plant and other plant machinery

• Daily pre and post start plant checks

• Rotating, adjusting, and replacing parts and equipment where required to ensure greater efficiency in the facility

• A strong focus on the facility's conveyor belts

• Responding to site breakdowns, identifying faults and complete repairs

• Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment

• Cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes, lines and tubes

What you will need

• Qualified Fitter

• Heavy Industrial, Mining or Quarry experience

• Working at Heights

• EWP

• Confined Space

• Telehandler (Desired but not essential)

• C6 Crane ticket (Desired but not essential)

• Flexibility to work overtime when required

• Safety focused individual with the ability and desire to promote, influence and drive a positive safety culture

All successful candidates will be required to attend a pre employment medical before commencing
