About the Role

WorkPac Recruitment are currently looking for a Fleet Controller for a local company in Welshpool Location. This role is ideally for someone who can understand Transport/Mechanics and can also do Admin work. This role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, $80k + Superannuation.

Role Duties

• Organise and oversee the service and repair of all vehicles ensuring they meet the safety and operational standards in a cost-effective manner.

• Schedule all assets for service and repair including the issuing of purchase orders and auditing of invoices for payment.

• Establish and audit local supplier network to support the Branch operations.

• Liaise with customers and Rental and Mobility team regarding the scheduling of service, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

• Manage the Branch assets due and overdue for service reporting.

• Organise annual Heavy Vehicle and Registration inspections for Branch assets.

• Co-ordinate or facilitate after hours breakdown service and repairs.

• Ensure all assets are presented to the highest level of reliability and safety and readiness for hire in a timely manner.

• Maintain knowledge of all asset classes and equipment specification and trends across the ORIX Rental and Mobility fleet.

What you will need

• Must have a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Qualification

• Forklift Ticket or willing to obtain one

• HC Driver Licence
