Forklift Operator

WorkPac are currently seeking Stores and Forklift operatorsto work in the Major Mining Distribution center for a 3 month contract offeringan immediate start based at a mine in Mt Isa. This role is for residential applications only. Applicants must reside within 100kms of Mount Isa.

• $37.57 per hour + Superannuation

• Mon - Fri Role

• Immediate Start, located in Mt Isa

About Our Client

What you will be doing

Working in a large team you will be assisting the Metallurgy Department in the distribution center. You will be operating forklifts for picking orders and mechanical materials so will need to have experience and competency. As safety is paramount, you will be responsible for machinery pre starts and ensuring a safe working environment.

What you will need:

• High risk forklift licence

• C Class open drivers licence

• Ability to pass a mine pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

• SAP knowledge desired but not mandatory
