Residential Roster Options: 4/4 (4 Days, 4 off, 4 Nights, 4 off) OR 6/6 (6 Days, 6 off, 6 Nights, 6 off)

FIFO Roster: 2/2 (7days, 7nights, 14 off)

About the Role
This role is a great opportunity to join a large-scale Rail Operation's team and contribute in the safe and successful delivery of operational activities. Working a 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off roster and reporting to the Superintendent Operations, you will be responsible for the following and more:
- Transport personnel as required by light vehicle.
- Assist with minor maintenance activities to support the safe operation of the rail network
- Assist application and release of handbrakes for trains on the mainline (in addition to any other instructed securing requirements)
- Liaise with Asset Health for fault finding and train recovery (within qualifications)
- Maintain the condition of the response depot or hub.
- Drive a light vehicle to inspect areas along the designated area of the network.


Role Requirements
- Literacy skills (min WA grade 10 or equivalent)
- Basic mathematics
- C class drivers licence (manual)
- Strong Safety Awareness
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of safety and environmental principles governing the work environment
- Demonstrate a high level of risk perception

It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Previous Rail Operations experience
- Heavy haulage experience
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience in high risk work
