WorkPac are currently seeking a Rig Geologist for a short term assignment near Kalgoorlie, WA.

Our client is seeking an experienced geologist to look after and RC Rig for approximately 2 weeks worth of work. You will hold 5 years experience in rig geology within a mining capacity and be willing to work in remote locations. The successful candidate will have the help of a field assistant during this assignment. This assignment starts on 6thAugust for a 14 day swing. Ideally you will be Kalgoorlie based but applicants from Perth will be considered for a FIFO opportunity.

About you:

The successful individual will have previous experience within mining rig geology. Key requirements include:

• Bachelor of Science in Geology

• 5 years exposure to RC drilling

• Previous exposure to Australia mine sites

• Ability to work independently in a remote location

• Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills

• Current Drivers License

• Right to work in Australia
