About the Roe
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Administrator to join our client at Maules Creek Mine. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our clients HSEC team in providing quality administrative support in the day to day running of their operations, with the primary focus to deliver an efficient, effective and professional Administration service. This is an ongoing opportunity role working a Monday to Friday roster.
Duties and Responsibilities
Logout Overstays - every morning and upon receipt of Fatigue Alert
Clearing Site Log every morning
Obtain figures from SAI360 for daily Managers' Meeting
Fatigue Monitoring and following up with Departments regularly
Obtain figures and run reports from SAI 360 for HSEC tram and other managers as requested
Check Frist Aid Room supplies regularly and arrange for supplies to be ordered
Check and electronically file: Medical Declarations/Fitness for Work/First Aid Treatments/Fatigue Assessments - referring to senior staff for any anomalies
Maintaining all Bulletin Boards with WHS Meeting/Incident Reports/Hazards Reports/Safety Interactions/Dust etc testing
Prepare WHS Meeting Minutes and spreadsheet monthly
Edit and print out WHS Minutes for distribution on Bulletin
Complete a First Aid Room/First Aid LV Kit inspection monthly
Organise ERT training in accordance with rosters
Check training calendars and input training dates to Coaltrak
20-20 keys register
Maintain spreadsheet and ordering for LV First Aid Kits
Obtain figures for Take 5s - update spreadsheet and distribute monthly
File Take 5s
Issuing and following up periodical medical referrals and chest x-ray referrals
Order prescription safety glasses = requisitions, confirmation of receipt by operator, maintain spreadsheet
PPE levels - check levels held and restock/order as required
Maintain registers of First Aid/ERT/Drug & Alcohol Testers and distribute as required
Monitor calibration of handheld AlcoQuant breathalysers - forward for recalibration - monitor for return
Archive documents
Raise requisitions as required by HSEC team and follow up delivery if required
ADHOC duties required by the HSEC team
Skills and Experience
Proficient in Microsoft office Suite Excel, word
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities with excellent time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment
Energetic and highly motivated
Team player with strong interpersonal skill
Current Drivers Licence
