Heavy Diesel Fitter

About the role

WorkPac is currently seeking qualified HD Fitters with extensive experience to carry out all aspects of mobile plant mechanical maintenance on our Client's fleet of heavy earthmoving machinery: 

Caterpillar;

Elphinstone;

Komatsu;

Hitachi;

Sandvik; and

Atlas Copco.

Skills & Experience

Strong commitment to safety;

Nationally recognised trade qualification;

Onsite Labour support experience;

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus;

Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills;

Keen eye for detail, presentation and craftsmanship;

Ability to work alone and 'think on their feet';

Work as part of a cohesive team, whether internally or on a customers site; 

Recent National Police Clearance or ability to attain one if successful

Ability to pass a D&A test, Full Medical inc audio, spiro, muscle skeletal
