About Our Client

Our client is Australiaâs largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market and largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter to commence at a mine near Dysart. You will be working a rostered shift with successful candidates starting as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience working in a heavy vehicle workshop environment

• Assure safe working practices

• Experience working on Dozers Equipment.  

• Pre-start checks on machinery

• Complete machinery inspections

• Repair and test machinery

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience working in a workshop

• Current Standard 11 or equivalent

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Current Driver's Licence and Right to work within Australia

• Qualified Trade Certificate

• Working at Heights & Confined Space qualifications are advantageous
