About the Role
WorkPac are seeking Mechanical Fitters to join the Infrastructure Team with our client based at a Hunter Valley Mine Site. The successful candidate will be working 10.5 hour day shifts on a Monday to Thursday / Tuesday to Friday Roster.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform servicing, repair and maintenance of fixed plant equipment including pumps, motors, lighting plants, fuel farms in the pit and workshop
Assist in the maintenance and repair of forklifts
Operate light vehicles within the pit
Complete work on the site fuel farms
Skills and Experience
Relevant Trade Qualification
Current Drivers Licence with reliable transport
Previous experience in a similar role
Working Safety at Heights
Ability to pass a Coal Board Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
