About our Client

Rio Tinto operates the worlds largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

About the Role

WorkPac is partnered with Rio Tinto and are currently seeking Light vehicle or Heavy Road Haulage mechanic for their Pilbara Port Operations. These positions are casual ongoing.

The successful candidate will be required to perform a range of jobs from servicing, component change outs, component rebuilds. Min 5 years post trade experience - looking for solid understanding experience working on CAT, KOMATSU and HITACHI equipment

Skills & Experience

• Hold an Australian recognised Heavy Road Haulage Trade Qualification - Mandatory

• Forklift ticket

• Basic rigging tickets would be preferred but not essential

• Current Drivers Licence
