• $70.00 per hour casual flat rate

• Gunnedah Basin Mine Site

• Monday to Friday - D/S & A/S

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an Experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Truck Mechanic to join our client at an open cut mine site in the Gunnedah area.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Repairs & maintenance on Scania A double trucks and trailers

• Work with minimum supervision to achieve production targets

• Demonstrate visible safe working practises and application of JSAs

• Carry out assigned work orders and coordinate with production and maintenance personnel
  

Skills & Experience

• Relevant Trade Qualification and experience

• Live local to the Gunnedah area or willing to relocate (camp available for non-locals)

• Ability to work Days and Nights on 5:2 roster

• Strong team player with proven track record of safety

• Australian Drivers Licence

• Willing to have a CMI Check and Drug & Alcohol Test

• Right to Work in Australia

• Be willing to undertake a NSW Order 43 Coal Board Medical

• Complete a WHC induction and Site Famil
