About the role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor for our Collie based client, full time permanent position, Monday to Friday.

Duties include:

• Identify and understand the resource requirements of the HSEQ function and systems within area of responsibility and provide the appropriate support to achieve the HSEQ objectives.

• Ensuring all HSE statutory obligations are complied

• Develop and maintain effective business/HSEQ relationships with all internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, responsiveness, and timely action with commitments.

• Providing support to develop a work environment which promotes and encourages safe & sustainable work practices

• Provide leadership to ensure successful HSEQ outcomes for area of responsibility

• Develop the skills, motivation and resources of team members and monitor their HSEQ performance standards and contributions to the business objectives.

• Ensuring the appropriate levels of skills and expertise are available to the business to deliver effective HSEQ

• Engage and work effectively with key stakeholders and our client to deliver/exceed HSEQ performance objectives.

• Supporting HSEQ systems and processes development and implementation consistency

• Work effectively with the Wider Operations team to deliver the HSEQ and business objectives.  

Skills and Experience

• 3+ yearsâ experience in HSEQ Advisory role

• Power Generation Sector experience

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)

• Comprehensive knowledge of safety & health principals, practice, and legislation

• Certificate IV Training and Assessment or similar (preferred)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement

• Microsoft Office proficiency

• Reside in Collie, Bunbury, or surrounding areas

• Right to work in Australia
