Human Resources Coordinator

  • Monday - Friday roster

  • Ongoing position permanent with the client

  • Based in Joondalup with travel to other metro sites

About the Position:

In partnership with our leading Injury Management Provider client based within Joondalup, WorkPac is currently seeking an HR Coordinator for an exciting full time, permanent opportunity or permanent part-time for the right applicant.

Within this position you will provide support and guidance to the operations and executive team across all aspects of human resource management including talent management, leadership training and organisational design.

Duties:

  • Create, maintain, and file employee records to ensure compliance with legal and privacy obligations.

  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of personal, salary and medical data kept in the human resources information system.

  • Assist in the management and tracking of employee and contractor contracts by entering data and uploading signed copies in a central register.

  • Create and update organisational charts reflecting structure changes.

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including developing position descriptions, advertisements, booking interviews, contractual requirements, and onboarding (phones, IT, desk, stationery etc.) for employees and contractors.

  • Administer credentialing processes for qualifications and security checks such as Working with Children Checks and Police Checks.

  • General administration support for all departments.

  • Ensure allocation of assets are recorded and updated within their personnel files and the returns process is completed before termination payments are processed by payroll.

  • Draft appropriate policies and procedures to meet organisational and executive management needs.

  • Model and demonstrate constructive working relationships and information exchange across the organisation.

  • Other duties consistent with the position where required and/or requested by the Operations Managers.

Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to exercise mature judgement within delegated authority and anticipate issues or concerns.

  • Exceptional time management, organisational and administrative skills.

  • Exceptional multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Exceptional personal presentation with a professional manner.

  • Experience in dealing with difficult stakeholders where empathy and discretion is required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A self-starter with proven ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision but also within a collaborative team environment

  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to see through issues to conclusion.

  • An understanding and complete commitment to confidentiality.
