About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a permanent opportunity located in Keswick, South Australia. This role will support business department managers, assisting and improving the business in all areas, reviewing and explaining analysis and proposing improvements to the business department managers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Employee relations - advice, consultation to support Dept Heads resolve employee related issues, educate, and promote workplace improvements

  • Business Partnering - support Director of Human resources in HR related projects

  • Coordinator of personnel files, maintain (admin) all employee files

  • Coordinate and organise with line managers probation reviews / annual reviews

  • Coordinate with line managers performance management ? record keeping.

  • Induction of new employees ? HYTORC culture, policies and procedure awareness, integration / buddying to team / dept.

General Duties

  • Organize the office operations and procedures, correspondence is controlled and filing systems designed and maintained

  • Preparing and implementing new processes and procedures to drive administration efficiency

  • Branch liaison ? facilitator of Head of Department meetings, action plans and result monitoring

  • Responsible for encouraging proactive engagement of Dept heads, and employees

  • Identify HR business risks, creation of viable strategies to mitigate risks

Health and Safety

  • Assist with maintaining and assessing the work health safety manual, procedures, risk assessments and business compliance ensuring the business remains compliant and up to date

  • Initiate and manage the regular work health safety monthly meetings

  • Target the team to maintain a safe working environment to remain compliant

  • Review results and communicate the results and the desired changes

  • Organise and participate in biannual internal audits with published results to the tea

  • Organise and coordinate the employee safety training to remain complaint within country regulations

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role

  • Strong key stakeholder engagement

  • Previous experience in providing industrial relations and human resources advice

  • Knowledge in workplace health and safety
