I & T Manager
About the Position:
In partnership with our leading Security and Resource Client, WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Inspection and Testing Manager for a full time, permanent opportunity based within Dingley Village. Reporting to the Fixed Service Manager you will deliver EBIT, Revenue, Gross Margin, and Overhead Cost targets within policies for the Fire I&T business activities of the Melbourne Metro business, managing the Mechanical I&T staff, Electrical I&T staff and subcontractors engaged for I&T works.
Responsibilities will Include:
Deliver EBIT, Revenue, Gross Margin, and Overhead Cost targets within policies for the Fire I&T business activities of the Melbourne Metro business, managing the Mechanical I&T staff, Electrical I&T staff and subcontractors engaged for I&T works.
Manage the deployment of Standard Work, EH&S and Process Improvement practices that provides for effective field force performance, customer quality service delivery and management, margin achievement, contract retention and compliance.
Maintain a workforce that will meet & exceed customer service needs of the business.
Deliver first class service to all customers at all times whilst continually meeting the requirements outlined within the business and agreed contracts
Establish and maintain systems that provide feedback from customers and the organisation on satisfaction with service provision
Develop a team-based culture within the team that accepts change initiatives.
Implement strategies that improve employee satisfaction and demonstrate progress.
Skills and Experience Required:
Demonstrated experience managing teams of Operational Technicians and Subcontractors
Prior Experience within Fire Industry, Security or Similar- Highly Regarded
Experience especially with management of a team that needs to obtain a high return from field force activities, quality service delivery in compliance with customer contract conditions (preferred)
Experience increasing customer base/market share through excellent customer service
Ability to Develop and implement clear process for the management of work
Leading by example by actively enacting a culture of accountability, integrity, client awareness, team spirit, ownership, and reliability in a positive, energetic and enthusiastic manner
Promote a safe and healthy environment
Work closely with other business functions and stakeholders to ensure effective participation and communication on resolving customer and employee issues
Experience in P&L Management, Forecasting and budgeting - Mandatory
Current Drivers Licence -Mandatory
