About the Role:

Are you seeking an opportunity within local government? WorkPac are currently searching for an Integrity Project Officer to join our client in the local government sector, offering an exciting 6-month position with the possibility of extension, located in Maroochydore. In this role, you will play a vital part by providing high-level professional guidance, overseeing processes, managing cases, and making recommendations within the Integrity Management Team. Your contributions are crucial in ensuring strict compliance with both the Right to Information Act and the Information Privacy Act.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and investigate customer complaints, including database maintenance and record-keeping

• Conduct research and handle requests under privacy laws

• Coordinate and oversee record searches in various departments

• Assist in decision-making as per information privacy legislation

• Support compliance with information privacy laws and provide training

• Handle administrative tasks, inquiries, mailboxes, and records

• Contribute to administrative projects, research, and liaise with stakeholders

• Represent the project sponsor on committees and forums as needed

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant background in compliance, ethics, or legal fields

• Knowledge of privacy and compliance laws

• Strong research and data analysis skills

• Project management or admin experience

• Excellent communication skills.
