About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking a Lab Technician to join our leading Mining Client for a casual position for an immediate start. This position will be for a 12 month duration, and will have a roster of 4/4 with 12 hour shifts (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) based in Gove NT.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• General laboratory activities:

• Wet chemical titrations

• Instrument preparation and running

• Reagent preparation

• Support to research chemists in lab projects

• General laboratory housekeeping, HSE checks, and consumables checks

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years experience in industrial laboratory operations

• experience with XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometry)

• Strong literacy, numeracy, and analytical skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques

• Current Drivers License - Manual
