• $32p/h (base rate) + overtime paid at penalty rates

About our client

Our client is a hire company that supports the civil and mining industry with over decades of history and experience. Their yard is based in Ormeau (Queensland) and they are looking for a an experienced Yard Hand/Labourer. The successful candidate will be required to commence immediately and may have the opportunity to move into a permanent position with the company.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be required to assist with the following duties:

• Load / unload dewatering equipment to/from truck putting away of stock items and equipment

• Set up a network of PVC pipes and associated fittings

• Assist dewatering supervisor with wellpoint spearing

• Yard duties eg: Yard clean, hose repair, spear repair

What you will need

• White Card

• Forklift (preferred)

• Drivers Licence and reliable transport

• Willingness to be part of a tightly knit team

• Strong work ethic

• 2 x work-related references
