About our Client
Our client provides laundry, linen hire and supply, dry cleaning and valet services to customers in the accommodation, healthcare and hospitality sectors.
About the Role
Our client is currently seeking production workers to process linen as it arrives into the facility from customers in accommodation, hospitality and healthcare while another team prepares the linen for despatch.
On offer, we have day/afternoon/night shift available.
All roles start at $27.95 + various shift allowances
This role would suit someone who is physically fit and enjoys working long hours.
For the right candidate this can turn into a temp to perm position depending on your performance!

Duties and Responsibilities
We have multiple vacancies across 3 areas in the laundry section(note: successful candidates will only be required to work in 1 area)
Soil sort:This is where soiled linen is unpacked and sorted.? There is bending and twisting in this role and requires upper body strength.
Finishing:This is where the 90% dry linen comes out of the washing process to be fed through irons and folded. Folding is automated and manual. This role requires less bending and twisting. However, staff at the back of the irons may need to lift up to 10kg worth of linen.
Despatch:This is where orders are packed to be sent out to customers. Good English communication is required in this role. Staff in this area will need to pack orders according to a packing slip.
Skills and Experience
Upper body strength, good hand eye coordination and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
Experience working in a Manufacturing/Process Environment (preferred not mandatory)
Full Work Rights in Australia
Be double vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a valid medical exemption letter (documents to be provided)
Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test.
Hep B vaccination (optional)
Have your own transport and PPE
