• $51 per/hr Flat

• Opportunity to work on major civil construction project

• 6 month Contract with possible extension

About Our Client

Our client has a strong name and reputation in the civil industry known for their quality and expertise in Highway construction and upgrade projects and currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand for a major civil construction project in Mount Charlton.

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking a Leading Hand for on-going work for a major civil construction project in Mount Charlton. You will be willing and able to work on a 14/7 roster and working a minimum of 10 to 12 hour days. The successful application will be willing to DIDO from Townsville or Surrounding areas, Meals and Accommodation is provided. This role would be suitable for someone with relevant "from the ground up" Civil Construction experience in a Leading Hand Capacity.

Responsibilities will Include:

• Understanding and monitoring of OHS and environmental requirements.

• Arrangement of plant, labour and material resources for project

• Direction and monitoring of subcontractors, supplier, and plant hire

• Daily Monitoring of site activity costs

• Maintain daily record of site activities.

• Ensure the site Supervisor quality expectations are being met.

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

• Must have at least 3+ years experience working in a Leading Hand position.

• Must have at least 3 +years working experience in Civil Construction (Earthworks)

• Previous current working experience on major civil Dam, Roads or subdivision experience required.

• White card

• Current Drivers Licence

• Current resume with 2x work related referees.

• Effective time management and attention to detail

• A strong work ethic

• Ability to meet deadlines.

• Be willing to go through pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Testing.
