About the Client

Our client specialises on both Engineering and Construction and have several projects across the Gold Coast region and are now looking for an experienced Leading hand to join the team on their construction site based in Beaudesert.

What you will be doing

Working 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday and Saturdays when required you will be leading a team working on the round about upgrade project based in Beaudesert, your core duties are listed below

• Arrangement of Plant, Labour and material resources for project

• Direction and monitoring of Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and plant hirers

• Monitor compliance with safety and environmental requirements

• Maintain compliance with construction program

• Report all non-conformances and assist recommendations for remedial work

• Maintain daily record of site activities

• Ensure clients quality expectations are being met / exceeded (in accordance with spec)

What you will need

• Certificate III in Civil Construction (preferred, not mandatory)

• Current drivers licence

• Good communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Proven leadership skills

• Have a thorough knowledge of the drawings, specifications and quality requirements for all site related activities

• Must have experience in minor civil infrastructure works and or urban development projects

• Strong sense of teamwork

• Proven ability to constantly deliver high quality construction projects within budget and program constraints
