Leading Hand - Heavy Diesel Fitter

About the Role

WorkPac is currently seeking qualified HD Fitter candidates with extensive experience to carry out all aspects of mobile plant mechanical maintenance on Client's fleet of heavy earthmoving machinery:

⢠Caterpillar;

⢠Elphinstone;

⢠Komatsu;

⢠Hitachi;

⢠Sandvik; and

⢠Atlas Copco

Skills & Experience

Strong commitment to safety;

Nationally recognised trade qualification;

Previous Leading Hand experience

Technical expertise with heavy earthmoving equipment both surface and underground equipment, namely;

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus;

Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills;

Keen eye for detail, presentation and craftsmanship;

The ability to work alone and 'think on their feet';

Work as part of a cohesive team, whether internally or on a customers site

Recent National Police Clearance or ability to attain one if successful

D&A, Full Medical inc audio, spiro, muscle skeletal
