About the Client.
Our national client is a leader in the industrial manufacturing sector and is seeking an experienced Leading hand to join their growing business. This role will be on a temp/casual basis with the option to transition to a permanent salary-based role with our client after a period of 6 months.
What you will be doing.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role is a "hands on" position which will see you lead a team of production employees in addition to operating in a busy work environment to coordinate and operate overhead cranes and forklifts to pick, assemble steel mesh, bars, coils and associated building products to transport to the clients customers
Your duties will include:
Conduct prestart checks on all plant and equipment
Responsible warehousing activities accessories, cycle counting, stocktaking
Pick & assembly associated building accessories
Loading & unloading ve
