About the Client

Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market and largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Shotfirer for a mine near Moranbah. This role will be ongoing and you will be responsible for bench blasting activities, dipping and logging of blast holes, blast guarding, installation of hole liners, operating IT Loaders and off siding of MPU.

You will be required to have a strong focus of safety and production, work ethic and organisational skills. You will be working with a strong dedicated team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Dipping and logging of blast holes

• Blast guarding

• Installation of hole liners

• Operating IT Loaders and off siding of MPU

• 12.5 Hour Shifts

• Follow Company as well as Site Procedures & Policies to a safe standard

Skills & Experience

• QLD Shot firer Licence

• SSAN Clearance

• Minimum 2 Years Experience

• Current Standard 11 Induction

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Current Driver's Licence

• Sound Work History
