About the Role

Our Client is looking for Experienced Light Vehicle Fitters for work on a mine site, local to the Hunter Valley Area. We are seeking experienced light vehicle mechanics who are interested in working a rotating roster of day and afternoon shift Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working on a range of vehicles form Holden Colorado's, Toyota Hilux, Toyota Land Cruisers, Toyota Prado's.

• Work as part of the team to meet KPI requirements

• Pass D&A test and undertake a full functional medical

Skills and Experience

To be successful you must:

• Have a Light Vehicle Trade Qualification.

• Provide signed competencies to verify experience

• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 work related supervisor references

• Have a flexible 'can do' attitude, as cultural fit to this site is very important to our client

• The following tickets will be highly advantageous:

  Forklift Licence

  Confined Space Certificate

  High Risk Work Licence - LF Class - Forklift Truck

  High Risk Work Licence - WP Class - Boom Type Elevating Work Platform

  NSW - Safe Welding & Cutting in Coal Mines (MDG25)

  NSW - Working with Heights (WAH 2)

Please Note: This is a residential role, no FIFO or camp facilities are available. Applicants must have accommodation in the Hunter Valley region for an application to be considered.
