About our Client

Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

About the Role

An opportunity exists for an experienced Light Vehicle Fitter who will contribute to the successful operations of the Hope Downs 1 mine site located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Reporting to the Light Maintenance Equipment Supervisor, you will repair and conduct preventative maintenance on 4WDs and ancillary vehicles / machinery.

*Note* Position is for 3-6 months with extension pending performance.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of 4WD light vehicles

• Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting/interpretive skills

• Relevant Australian recognised trade certification

• Air-conditioning accreditation (AAC02 - Automotive Air Conditioning Licence)

• Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)

• HR Drivers Licence (preferred)
