About the Role

An ongoing opportunity exists for a Light Vehicle Fitter who will contribute to the successful operations of Rio Tinto's Tom Price mine site located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Reporting to the Light Maintenance Equipment Supervisor, you will repair and conduct preventative maintenance on 4WDs and ancillary vehicles / machinery.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance light (4WD, Toyota) and heavy (CAT, Komatsu and ancillary) vehicles

• Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting/interpretive skills

• Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment, specifically Caterpillar Fleet

• Relevant Australian recognised trade certification

• Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)

• HR Drivers Licence (preferred)

• High Risk Forklift, Dogging and EWP (preferred)

• Working at Heights and Confined Space (preferred)
