About the Role

The job purpose for the Electrical Operator/Maintainer will be to ensure safe operations of the LNG Plant,Solar Centaur Turbines,Logistics Operations (Road Transport) and associated facilities (pipelines).

Skills & Experience

• Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Trade / Certificate preferred

• Experience in the operation and maintenance of a modern Power Station and LNG Plant and / or similar gas compression / pipeline experience preferred

• Successful Applicant will reside in Karratha

• Awareness of HV electrical distribution systems preferred

• Understanding of industrial relations environment preferred

• Previous Hydrocarbon operator and maintenance experience essential

• Experience with electronics and control systems preferred

• Experience with rotating equipment preferred

• Computer literacy using Microsoft suite of packages

• Drivers licence essential

• Experience with in the gas industry and power generation industry

• Experience with Caterpillar Solar Turbines

• Experience in Emergency Response

• Understanding of Dangerous goods legislation preferred

• Understanding of MHF regulations preferred

• Experience with Maintenance Management systems i.e. PRONTO

• Experience in Permit to work Systems, gas testing officer preferred

• First Aid Training
