Logistics Officer

About the Role:

Workpac are seeking an experienced Logistics Officer for an exciting opportunity with our renewable energy client based in Regional NSW.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the successful applicant will support the logistics team to manage all stock and deliveries in and out of the warehouse on site. This particular project is a large scale, multi stage solar farm development. The position is a full time Monday to Friday role with an estimated 2 year contract available directly with our client. This is a local based role in the Armidale region and no accommodation or travel is provided.

Key Duties:

  • Manages stock control and reconciles with the data storage system.

  • Uses available software tools (Excel, MS Project) to ensure information is correctly stored and easily accessible and ensures databases are constantly updated.

  • Liaises with transport companies when necessary.

  • Adheres to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.

  • Assist Logistics Manager in day-to-day implementation of the Construction Logistics Plan.

Key Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working on a renewable energy project would be preferred

  • Previous logistics, supply chain or warehousing experience is essential

  • Experience dealing with suppliers ad purchase systems is preferred

  • Must hold a construction white card

  • Must hold a current valid drivers license

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test if required

  • Must hold full working rights in Australia
