• $45 per hour+ penalties

What you will be doing

Our client is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for ongoing work based in Wangara.

• Work from drawings, quality plans and work instructions to determine the machining operation to be performed.

• Programming, setting and operating of CNC Machine tools to manufacture components by turning, boring, milling, or drilling metal stock or castings as required.

• Setup and operate manual machine tools to manufacture components by turning, boring, milling, grinding or drilling metal stock or castings when required.

• Select cutting tools and speed, pressure and depths of cuts.

• Maintain a tidy and clean work area including, daily cleaning of your machine, work area, and shared work areas.

• Basic machine maintenance including daily lubrication, scheduled coolant changes and other maintenance as required.

• Clock on and off each day and record your time spent on each job on your job card.

What you will need

• Trade qualified in 1st Class Machining

• Extensive programming experience with Mazatrol lathe controls and Fanuc Machining Center controls.

• Self motivated and positive attitude

• Must be punctual and reliable
