What Will You Be Doing?

As a Painter Blaster for train wagons, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and performing blasting operations to ensure the train wagons are properly maintained and refurbished. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the longevity and aesthetic appeal of our train wagons.

Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, rust, and other contaminants using blasting equipment.

  • Apply primers, paints, and coatings to train wagons using various painting techniques.

  • Ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications.

  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of painting and blasting equipment.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing tasks.

  • Complete job documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

  • Assist with other duties as required, including general labour tasks.

What You Will Need:

  • Proven experience as a painter blaster, preferably in the transportation or industrial sectors.

  • Knowledge of various blasting and painting techniques and equipment.

  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to painting and blasting operations.

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
