About The Role

WorkPac are seeking a Marine Project Engineer to join Rio Tinto Dampier Salt in Perth, assisting with project construction, fabrication and quality control.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical engineering oversight and project support.

• Oversee the planning, execution and close-out of marine construction projects.

• Develop and execute high quality project scopes with clear technical specifications.

• Provide technical and project management oversight throughout project cycle.

• Liaise with port authorities and other regulators and stakeholders on relevant marine matters.

Skills & Experience

• Engineering degree in mechanical or structural engineering.

• Marine project experience including construction of jetties, wharfs and pilings.

• Strong decision-making capability along with ability to work autonomously.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to lead, influence and motivate.

• Current WA C Class Driver's license minimum.
