About the Role
WorkPac is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join Rio Tinto's Brockman 2 site.
Reporting to the Fixed Plant Supervisor, you will be repairing and maintaining crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, apron feeders and carrying out preventative maintenance tasks.
Maintain infrastructure through repairing and overhauling the fixed plant equipment.
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance for all equipment in the fixed plant area.
Conduct routine inspections of fixed plant assets and determine repair action when required.
Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed
Skills & Experience
Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
2+ years recent Fitter experience in an Iron Ore Fixed Plant or similar
Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
Basic understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar highly regarded
High Risk Working at Heights licence (preferred)
