About Our Client
Our client is one of the leaders in today's petrochemical industry, the fully equipped workshop of our client based in Townsville continues to focus on the needs of their customers designing and tailoring equipment to their specific requirements, which include development and manufacturing of specialised vehicles and fire appliance.
About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to commence at a workshop in Townsville. You will be working a Monday to Friday roster with up to 55 hours a week.
Duties & Responsibilities
Experience working in a heavy vehicle workshop environment
Assure safe working practices
Pre-start checks on machinery
Complete machinery inspections
Repair and test machinery
Skills and Experience:
Qualified Trade Certificate
Good eye for details
Ability to work unsupervised
Experience working on trucks and fire appliances is advantageous
Current Driver's Licence and Right to work within Australia
Working at Heights & Confined Space qualifications are advantageous
