• $46.76 per hour + overtime penalties + Superannuation

Our client is in Melbourne's Northern suburbs that has been operating for over 50 years, specialising in steel pipe manufacturing. They are currently seeking multiple Maintenance Fitters to undertake preventative maintenance and general plant maintenance on conveyor and other manufacturing equipment.

The Role:

• Preventative maintenance and general plant maintenance on conveyor and other manufacturing equipment in pipe fabrication

• Day shift

• Ongoing role

• General shutdown maintenance work

Skills & Attributes:

• Hold a trade qualification/certificate

• Mechanical experience with the following (pumps, motors, hydraulics, grinders, drills, jack hammers, conveyors)

• Breakdown repairs and upgrades on plant machinery

• Welding experience (non structural)

• Preferably have shutdown and repairs experience in mining, quarries and heavy manufacturing plants.

• Have own basic tools (specialised tools will be provided)

• Own Transport

• Must have full working rights to work in Australia

• Must pass a pre-employment medical and provide negative covid-19 test results at point of onboarding
