About our client

Our client is a leading global supplier of technologically innovative utility, construction, and mining equipment throughout the world. They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Sherwood.

What you will be doing

If successful, you will be joining a small team in a very busy workshop where you will be required to work Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm. A typical day in this role will involve the mechanical works across Excavators, Loaders, Dozers & Trucks including complete rebuilds. Due to the high volume of work required, candidates being considered must have recent Mobile Plant Equipment experience.

This is an ongoing position with an immediate start whereby the successful candidate will have the opportunity to move into a full-time/permanent position with the company after 6 months.

What you will need

• Trade certified Mechanical Fitter

• Mobile plant experience

• Experience on Komatsu equipment is highly desirable

• Drivers license + transport

• Willingness to be part of a tightly knit team

• Strong work ethic

• 2 x work-related references
