About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter to commence a role in Mackay. You will be working a rostered shift with successful candidates starting as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience working in a heavy vehicle workshop environment

• Assure safe working practices

• Experience working on Dump Trucks, Water Trucks, Graders, Loaders and Axillary Equipment.  

• Pre-start checks on machinery

• Complete machinery inspections

• Repair and test machinery

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience working in a workshop

• Current Standard 11 or equivalent

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Current Driver's Licence and Right to work within Australia

• Qualified Trade Certificate

• Working at Heights & Confined Space qualifications are advantageous
