About the Role

WorkPac are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join Rio Tinto's Mines Productivity Program on a FIFO 5/2/4/3 roster to Paraburdoo.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mechanical projects.

• Independently manage contractor and designer mechanical queries.

• Review and evaluate vendor proposals.

• Oversee the planning, design and implementation of multiple projects concurrently.

Skills & Experience

• Strong mechanical capabilities and project management experience.

• Experienced in contractor management in a fixed plant environment.

• Tertiary qualified in Mechanical Engineering.

• Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
