Mechanical Tradesperson

• Monday to Friday (38 hour working week, with roster option of a 4 day weekend.

• Temp to permanent for successful candidates.

• $52.50 - $57.50 p/hr + penalties, (rate varies pending experience)

• Tomago Based Workshop.

• Dayshift or Afternoon shifts rosters with Overtime available.

About the role:

Our client is currently calling for applications from Mobile Plant Fitters to join their workshops at Tomago. This role involves performing mechanical maintenance and repairs (scheduled and emergency) of underground haulage and ancillary equipment at their main workshop based in Tomago in NSW.

Skills and qualifications required for this role:

??? Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle OR Light Vehicle Mechanic

??? Minimum of 12 months??? post trade experience;

??? Previous experience with repairing underground mobile plant (preferred)

??? Current driver's license ??? HR preferred; and

??? A good work ethic and positive safety attitude.

To succeed in this role:

??? Demonstrate a commitment to our goal of Zero Harm;

??? Have previous experience with performing component change out and repairs.

??? Have strong fault finding capabilities/diagnosis skills

??? Adhere to all site safety standards and requirements; and

??? Completion of pre-starts, care and maintenance of vehicles.
