About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Mine Scheduling Engineer to join our client on an 8:6 roster in a site based position. The role will manage the daily and weekly scheduling activities and provide technical support to the mine operations team in order to ensure the safe and efficient execution of the mine plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily mine scheduling

• Manage machine allocations

• Daily and weekly grade control and production forecasting

• Weekly stockpile scheduling

• Compliance reporting

• Implement mine planning improvements, cost reduction and efficiency initiatives

Skills and Experience:

• Qualifications in mining engineering or related discipline

• Proven experience in daily and weekly mine scheduling and planning

• Previous experience in open pit or Iron Ore (preferable)

• Vulcan Software Experience

• Current Australian 'C' class driver licence

• Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
