About the Role:

Workpac are seeking an experienced Mine Service Coordinator for a long term project based in the Bowen Basin.

This role will be supporting the production mine services teams in a large coal mining operation in the Bowen Basin. The project will focus on the scheduling and coordination of a new road system in the mine using pit material (cut fill ramps, haul roads, access roads). The successful candidate will have previous mining operations experience and understand the pit schedules. The project is expected to run for 12 to 14 months and the role is working on a Monday to Thursday roster FIFO from Brisbane or DIDO from the Mackay area.

About the Role:

• Scheduling and coordination of a new road system within the coal mine including cut fill ramps, haul, LV and access roads with multiple dual use intersections

• Manage workflow to enable productive activities for 4 site supervisors and pit production coordinators

• Assist with developing a weekly workflow plan for supervisors and development teams

About You:

• Must have previous mining operations experience

• Must have strong understanding of mining pit schedules

• Have previously worked on a similar mine development ideally in a civil capacity

• Ideally hold an engineering degree in mining or civil

• Be available for an immediate start

• Must hold a current CBM and S11

• Must hold S1, S2, S3 and G2
