About the Client

One of Australia's most trusted mining services contracting company, our client have been providing low-cost contract mining to large scale, complex mining operations for over twenty-five years. They specialize in full scope mining services, statutory management, technical services, fleet management and maintenance and precision extraction. Being based in South Walker Creek Coal Mine, which is 143 km south of Mackay, they are seeking Single skilled Dump truck operators an Multi Skilled Operators with over twelve months experience on site.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work a 7/7 rotating day/night roster operating 12.5 hour shifts. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity and generally move across to permanent within three months based off performance. You will be responsible for operating Komatsu 830E / 930E Trucks and Cat 797's and will have a minimum of twelve months experience working within a mining environment, civil space or Operators with hard rock experience. You will have an absolute commitment to working safely and a signed skills list or training transcript.

What you will need

• Must have current Dump truck operating experience with 12 months plus experience

• Have a current Coal Board Medical

• Standard 11

• Heavy Rigid RII, site authorizations or Training Transcripts

• Current QLD drivers license

• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test when commencing on site
