About the Role

Seeking experienced Mining System Technicians for roles in the Pilbara.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for Mining System Applications

Install, test and repair mine systems equipment on heavy vehicles in a mining environment

Scoping and implementing system enhancements based on customer requirements

Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement with existing mining systems in consultation with Mining Systems Team, Production Systems Specialist and OC controllers training specialist

Assist in the training of field operators with regards to the proper use of Mining System applications

Liaison with the Mining Systems and Operational Teams to ensure systems are maintained in such a way that they provide a high level of data accuracy and integrity

Skills and Experience

Extensive experience in mining system applications such as Modular Mining (Dispatch, MineCare and Power view)

Strong working knowledge of Caterpillar systems - Terrain, CAES an Aquila and HME Interfaces

Mobile radio network experience (WIFI)

Current Australian 'C' class manual driver licence

Relevant qualifications in Auto Electrical, Radio Communication or Industrial IT

Experience with Autonomous Mining Systems (preferred)Experience in mobile radio network (LTE) and CCTV camera systems (preferred)

Mine Production Reporting Solutions - Oracle an SQL based experience (preferred)

Experience in Pit Technology Solutions, i.e. Survey Technology, Wall Monitoring Solutions (preferred)
