About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking a Monitoring Officer to join our client' s teamwithin Jandakot, WA. This position will be for a 12 month duration 4 dayson 4 daysoff 4 nights on 4 nights off roster(12 hour shifts (6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am). Free parkingavailableon site and a short bus ride away from Cockburn Central train station and shopping centre, it is an ideal location to work.The role will suit individuals with a strong customer service background, team players who have the ability to work autonomously, resilient and reliable career focused professionals. Individuals who have great self-awareness and disciplined stress management techniques will succeed in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all alarms and calls are actioned, and complaints are resolved or escalated in accordance with Response Centre procedures

  • Effectively communicating with internal and external customers including Emergency Services

  • Working with and supporting different areas within the business, including our Customer Service team

  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant information to handle enquiries and complaints and performing customer verifications

  • Ensuring all alarm events are actioned

  • Maintaining a reputation for caring and professional service to clients and their associated contacts

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Work in a fast paced Monitoring Centre role which requires a calm manner, attention to detail and a professional attitude.

  • Have strong communication skills and computer literacy.

  • Multitask across prioritised alarm events and inbound calls.

  • Liaise with emergency services, security patrols and a diverse range of clients.

  • Schedule and dispatch Chubb Fire Technicians to customer call outs.

  • Working a rotating 24/7 roster onsite and there are no working from home opportunities.
